Indian squash player, Anahat Singh, has advanced to the quarterfinals of the U-17 girls’ singles category at the Squash British Junior Open. This achievement comes after a series of impressive victories.

In the pre-quarterfinals, Singh faced Tsz Ching Armona Cheung of Hong Kong, China. She emerged victorious with a comprehensive win, scoring 11-5, 11-7, and 11-5. This win continues Singh’s undefeated streak in the tournament, as she has not dropped a set so far.

Before this, Singh defeated Farida Walid Sherif in the R32 stage with a score of 11-6, 11-8, 11-4. These victories highlight Singh’s exceptional form in the British Open.

Singh, who previously won the Scottish Open, now sets her sights on the British Open. Her next challenge is the quarterfinal match against Ruqayya Salem of Egypt. Like Singh, Salem has also not dropped a set in the tournament, promising an exciting match ahead.

Despite her young age, Singh has already amassed 17 titles in her squash career. As she continues to compete at the highest level, she is expected to close the gap with other elite players in terms of titles won. The upcoming matches in the British Junior Open will determine if Singh can continue her winning streak and add another title to her name.
