BGMS 2: Gladiators Esports clinches throne of mega event
A total of 24 teams took part in the BGMI Masters Series Season 2.
One of India's biggest series of Esports after the introduction of BGMI concluded with Gladiators Esports claiming the throne of BGMS season 2.
In a thrilling nail-biter of a finale, the Gladiators secured the championship by a mere one-point margin, with Orangutan finishing as the runner-up. The winners asserted complete dominance over the final week by clinching 2 WWCD and accumulating 150 points. Velocity Gaming secured the third spot in this thrilling edition with 137 points.
Global Esports and Team Insane finished fourth and fifth respectively.
The Masters series was slated to run for just over three weeks of intense battlegrounds. It featured a total of seven rounds to be played, and the top teams earned the opportunity to compete in the Grand Finals on Sunday, August 27th. A total of 24 teams took part in the BGMI Masters Series Season 2.

The second edition came with a mega prize pool of ₹2.1 Crore which made the highest-ever pool-price esports tournament in India up to that point. The champion grabbed the bounty amount of ₹1 Crore while the subsequent was distributed amongst the rest.

The second edition came as a blow to many legendary esports organizations. With newly formed teams crushing the old ways and creating new benchmarks for the Esports. While there were great setbacks BGMI MastersSeries 2: Gladiators Esports cliches the throne of the mega events for the star teams like Team Soul and Godlike Esports. Even the fan-favorite team, Revenant, had a disappointing BGMI Tournament experience, failing to qualify for the playoffs.
