Netherlands Schedule for ICC T20 World Cup 2024, Fixtures, Dates, Venues
Netherlands will kick-off their ICC T20 World Cup 2024 campaign against Nepal on 4th June, 2024.
The ICC have revealed the schedule for the Men’s ICC T20 World Cup 2024, with the Netherlands placed in Group D alongside cricket powerhouses South Africa and Sri Lanka, as well as Bangladesh and Nepal. This edition introduces an innovative format, accommodating 20 teams for the first time, organized into four groups of five teams each. The tournament’s structure involves the top two teams from each group advancing to the Super Eight stage, followed by a division into two groups of four. The competition reaches its pinnacle as the top two teams from these groups progress to the semi-finals, setting the stage for the grand finale on June 29th.
Netherlands stand a solid chance of advancing to the next round, given their recent victories against South Africa and Bangladesh in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. On the other hand, Nepal, with limited international experience, faces a challenging road. The Dutch team’s prowess makes them strong contenders to secure a spot in the top two of the group and progress to the next stage of the T20 World Cup.
Netherlands will face South Africa on 8th June
In their T20 World Cup 2024 journey, the Netherlands will face an extensive travel schedule for their four group-stage matches. The Dutch team will kick-off their campaign in Dallas on June 4 against Nepal, followed by a match in New York on June 8 against South Africa.
Their last two group-stage encounters will take place in St. Vincent on June 14 against Bangladesh and in St. Lucia on June 16 against Sri Lanka. If the Netherlands manage to secure a position in the top two of the points table in Group A, they will advance to the Super 8 round.
Netherland’s full schedule for ICC T20 World Cup 2024:

2. Netherlands vs South Africa, Eisenhower Park, June 8, New York
