Brisbane Heat defeated Perth Scorchers by 23 runs in the 32nd match of BBL 2023-24.
Brisbane Heat continued their dominance in the ongoing season of the BBL 2023-24. They carried on with the momentum and outclassed the defending champions Perth Scorchers by 23 runs at Gabba. Michael Neser’s 64-run knock at the end of the Heat’s inning proved to be match-winning. Neser smashed 64 runs in 30 balls with 7 fours and 3 big sixes. He finished the innings with 3 huge sixes. Brisbane Heat posted 191 runs in 20 overs despite a poor opening start against Scorchers.
Along with Michael Neser, Marnus Labuschagne (44) and Sam Billings (37) also played a useful hand in the innings.
