The 31st match of the ongoing Big Bash League 2023-24 saw Hobart Hurricanes facing Adelaide Strikers. Hurricanes posted a challenging total of 165/7 in their 20 overs, with Ben McDermott showcasing an outstanding unbeaten innings of 95 runs from 61 balls, which included seven boundaries and five sixes.

Strikers, in response, chased down the target with precision, reaching 168/5 in 19.2 overs. Matthew Short led the charge for Strikers with a dynamic 45 runs off 32 balls.
