“The Scottish Warrior” quit WWE in the most recent edition of WWE RAW.

Drew McIntyre is back to zero after a brutal defeat against Damien Priest on Clash at The Castle. McIntyre was unable to recapture the World Heavyweight Championship, which he lost via cash-in at WrestleMania 40. This time, it looks like McIntyre’s setback was severe, as the former WWE Champion has made important decisions on Raw.

So far, Monday Night Raw has been stunning, and Drew McIntyre’s pick looks to have made it even more so. He phoned Raw to explain his loss, and it looks like he has chosen to leave the organization as a result of it. He said that he can no longer take the company’s actions and plans to screw them.

After saying these words, he announced that he was leaving and would not continue. Drew McIntyre admitted, “I can’t do it anymore. Sc**w this company. I quit.” Fans are outraged by this scenario, but it appears that few people are aware that this might be a storyline point WWE is aiming to build towards. Is this a storyline or has McIntyre really left WWE?

Will we never see Drew McIntyre in WWE again?

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is frequently in the headlines for reasons that no one is aware of. Because of his link, the man has a plethora of knowledge, and a few months ago, using his insight connection, he disclosed to the WWE Universe that Drew McIntyre had officially re-signed a new contract with the WWE.

This was a really happy moment for Drew McIntyre’s followers since they knew they’d be watching their favorite wrestler for the next few years. So, what transpired that led McIntyre to depart WWE? So far, the presumption has been that WWE is seeking to give Drew McIntyre a break in light of all that has occurred to him.

This break would allow the character to regain energy on screen and restart the story. This is why WWE hasn’t done much with the character, instead choosing the traditional road of the ‘I Quit’ narrative, which wrestlers often use when their persona requires a break. Although these are only guesses, it’ll be interesting to see if WWE does the same with Drew McIntyre.

So, Drew McIntyre hasn’t quit WWE literally rather it is -part of the WWE storyline as WWE is planning Punk vs McIntyre for Summerslam. With Money in the Bank on the way WWE wants to give the Scottish Warrior the time off he deserves.
