Many things are on the line for the Damian Priest vs Seth Rollins match at MITB 2024

Damian Priest is one of the top WWE stars in the new era, who has been leading the Raw brand. Priest is the current World Heavyweight Champion, who won the title at WrestleMania 40 Night 2 by cashing in his Money in the Bank contract on Drew McIntyre, moments after Drew won the title from Seth Rollins.

After winning the title, Priest has defended his title twice and successfully retained his championship. Priest is now all set for his third title defense at WWE Money in the Bank PLE and it seems like he will be in big trouble if he loses his title.

Damian Priest vs Seth Rollins match stipulations

On the June 17, 2024, episode of Raw, Damian Priest confronted the returning Seth Rollins and offered him a World Heavyweight Championship match at Money in the Bank PLE, when his title reign was questioned. Both agreed to the match and it was made official by the Raw General Manager Adam Pearce.

The following week on Raw, Rollins confronted Priest and added stipulations to the match, to make things spicy. Rollins said that if he fails to win the title, he will no longer challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship unless Damian Priest holds it. However, he wanted Damian Priest to leave The Judgment Day, if he lost his title to Rollins. As the tensions develop, Priest agrees to the challenge saying that only Judgment Day needs him and he doesn’t need Judgment Day.

Consequences if Damian Priest loses

With that being said, if Priest loses at Money in the Bank, he will not only lose his title but also will quit The Judgment Day faction. It is important to note that Rhea Ripley gave Damian Priest the right to lead Judgment Day from the front in her absence and wanted them to fix things. This will also help Liv Morgan enter the Judgment Day with ease, as most of them are already in favor of Liv. It seems like the future of Judgment Day is in the hands of Damian Priest.
