Ultimate Kho Kho 2023: Mumbai Khiladis eye comeback against Chennai Quick Guns, Odisha Juggernauts face Gujarat Giants
Chennai remain the only unbeaten team in the season.
Mumbai Khiladis will look to make a remarkable comeback when they take on Chennai Quick Guns in the ongoing Ultimate Kho Kho 2023 on Saturday while defending champions Odisha Juggernauts will take on Gujarat Giants at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Cuttack.
Promoted by Amit Burman in collaboration with the Kho Kho Federation of India, Ultimate Kho Kho became a huge hit in the first season, emerging as India’s third-largest non-cricket league in terms of television viewership. It also became the first Indian sports league to secure Series A funding, courtesy of the UK-based BNP Group.
Mumbai Khiladis are in the fifth position in the points table with a total of 7 points after a win from five games and captain Sreejesh S stated that the team is high on confidence ahead of their next match.
“We are confident in our abilities and have been paying well since the last few games. Our aim now is to win the next match against Chennai Quick Guns, who have done well in the league as well. So, I am really confident in my team and we will go in the upcoming with a winning intention,” commented Sreejesh.

On the other hand, Odisha Juggernauts are fourth in the points table with 14 points after registering a big win against Rajasthan Warriors in their last match. Odisha’s vice-captain Gowtham MK acknowledged that a two-day rest before their next match will do wonders for his players.
He said, “We have a two-day rest before our next match and we will be 100 percent recovered for our next match, so, it’s a really good advantage to us. Our team has the quality and we will give our maximum effort in the upcoming match to notch a victory.”
