This year’s WWE Money in the Bank can be historic in many ways witnessing recent events.

WWE is approaching the finishing line for its next International Premium Live Event, WWE Money in the Bank. The event is set to take place on Saturday, July 6, at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The show has advertised a spectacular match card that can alter the WWE landscape significantly and create some moments of history. Here are the top four moments that could be historic for WWE if it happened at Money in the Bank.

4. Hometown Miss Money in the Bank

The Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match features an array of six top competitors from both RAW and SmackDown who made their way to the ladder bout by winning qualifying matches. While all the superstars are credible enough to emerge victorious, The Hot Mess Chelsea Green walks into the event with a home-field advantage. With her hometown crowd behind her alongside her ever-growing momentum, Money in the Bank PLE could finally be the historic moment for Chelsea Green to grab the coveted briefcase.

3. First-ever two-time World Heavyweight Champion

WWE Money in the Bank PLE is set to feature a high-stakes title match between Damian Priest and Seth “Freakin” Rollins. Moreover, the match is bound by a unique stipulation that could see either Rollins never challenging for the World title until Priest is the champion or Priest exiting his faction, Judgment Day for good. But a history-making moment could see The Visionary reclaim the title he made prestigious at the event and become the first-ever two-time World Heavyweight Champion by dethroning Damian Priest.

2. A New Wiseman for the Bloodline

Last week’s SmackDown from Madison Square Garden saw a shocking turn of events as Paul Heyman refused to acknowledge Solo Sikoa as his Tribal Chief, unlike the other Bloodline members who obeyed his orders. Heyman paid the price for his actions as The Bloodline decimated him and seemingly exiled the Wiseman from the faction. This could be seen in the emergence of a new Wiseman at Money in the Bank, possibly Armando Estrada, former manager of Anoa’i family member Umaga. Estrada also teased the possibility on social media and could be revealed as the new Wiseman of The Bloodline at WWE Money in the Bank PLE.

1. AJ Lee makes a shocking return

After CM Punk cost Drew McIntyre one of the biggest matches of his career at WWE Clash at the Castle, McIntyre exacted his revenge by laying a vicious beatdown on him and taking his bracelet bearing the name of his dog and wife, AJ Lee, bringing his family into the mix. With Punk out of the mix for now, WWE Money in the Bank could see the long-awaited return of AJ Lee to WWE, who could follow in her husband’s footsteps and cost McIntyre the opportunity to win the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
