Joe Hendry’s makes appearance in the NXT Championship No. 1 Contender Battle Royal.
WWE has been in collaboration with TNA and there has been tease of seeing a number of TNA stars potentially stepping into WWE. With that being in talks, Joe Hendry’s appearance in WWE was expected the most. The 36-year-old TNA star and musician has been the hottest sensation with his new song, “I believe in Joe Hendry”.
As most wondered if they could see Joe Hendry in WWE, the TNA Star made his surprise appearance on the June 18, 2024 episode of NXT. Hendry made his NXT debut for the 25 Men NXT Championship #1 Contender’s Battle Royal. Here is a quick look at what he did on NXT and the fans reactions to Hendry’s appearance.

Joe Hendry received a huge reception from the NXT Universe, who were so loud and sang his theme song, “I believe in Joe Hendry”.
Hendry while making his entrance said his iconic catchphrase, “Say his name and he appears” and he is in NXT. He explained that the Battle Royal is between 24 men and one sensation. He said that he would throw all 24 other men out of the ring to become the NXT Champion and will take the title to TNA. When that happens the whole NXT Universe will acknowledge him saying, “We Believe in Joe Hendry”.
As he claimed that it was one vs 24 others, all the NXT Stars eliminated Hendry, as soon as he entered the ring, making him the first one to get eliminated from the Battle Royal. In a digital exclusive interview backstage, he met Shawn Michaels and asked if it was his idea to have 24 men against him. He then said that he would appear anywhere, anytime, and all they need to do is to say his name.
